What have you been playing and what do you think?

Quoting: TobiSGDWould love to try that. Sadly, Valve thinks that this 40 years old German shouldn't be allowed to buy the game or even see it on Steam.
I think it's possible to redeem a key if someone from abroad buys it?
(The someone would not be me, I'm in the same situation...)

Quoting: pedrojmartmI think it is my processor what make me have that FPS count. I have a GTX 1070 on a 25560x1080 monitor, but i have an old Intel Core i7 870 CPU :/
While they say gaming is mostly GPU bound these daays, I fear that's time for an upgrade... :)

Quoting: tumocsI got finally back into Wasteland 2 in intention to finish it.
It's absolutely brilliant but also crashy as fuck unless you pump up ulimit just for the game.
I like my shittalking pacifist hippie leader and idiot massive strongwoman who hits shit with a bat.
Same here, I stream a LP and also plan to finish it this time around. I can't even start the game without increasing ulimit to 4096 for it. After that it's mostly OK. I've had sessions where it worked for 8 hours straight without a hitch and others where it crashed after an hour at the loading screen. Not sure those crashes are ulimit related, but they might be.
I played through Wasteland 2 and if I'm not wrong I did have one crash. At most. And what's this ulimit thing? What does it do? I surely didn't touch it.

They're five years late! [External Link]
(But then, as Windows users, of course they are.)

Quoting: SolitaryI don't think ChromeOS is much of a thing in Europe in general, I don't know anyone that bought one. Correct me if I am wrong.
Are Chromebooks even available in Europe? Maybe in some of the western countries, but certainly not where I live.
Available in Germany [External Link], but I don't know anybody who has got one or only considered one.

Space Pirates And Zombies 2 now has a Linux beta available
28 Sep 2017 at 8:46 am UTC

This is day 1 of the beta test, so please be gentle. We will fix things as quickly as we can, but we are new to both Mac and Linux. These builds have both been tested on a grand total of 1 machine each.
This does sound nice and please, do be gentle...

... but I wonder how new they could be to Linux when the same guy already posted about the Linux port of the first SPAZ. :)

Quoting: DolusThis really isn't the best place for political discussion, but there are clearly nutjobs on the left just like there are on the right.
I don't feel there's anything political about the fact there are nutjobs everywhere.
