Quoting: iMicq@Teal: I didn't have any issues with nVidia drivers lately... With 3 different GPUs. (One of them was on a laptop)I don't have "issues" either, aside of performance being worse than on Windows with DirectX, and aside of missing features, like Shadowplay, which I hugely miss.

I find it a bit worrying that they have nobody from NVidia nor ATI at the presentation.
They can dream up as amazing API as they want; if the GPU makers don't bother with good driver implementation, it will be perfectly worthless.

Quoting: BeamboomWell that's good and dandy but my budget of a university student with very limited income doesn't really take moral objectivism as form of currency.Quoting: TealI can at least justify it through the fact it's money that are split among often literally hundreds of developers who worked on that game. Meanwhile, a three guy thing done with pretty yet still quite low effort vector graphics, besides still in early access, for 27,99€, that's just really rough.Number of sold copies plays a role here, to put it mildly. I can almost guarantee you that the top selling AAA releases fetches more dineros to each developer than the small indie releases do.
If that is any salvation. :)

I really really want this game but I can't really justify the 27,99€ pricetag. I usually don't buy AAA games at that price, damnit, and there I can at least justify it through the fact it's money that are split among often literally hundreds of developers who worked on that game. Meanwhile, a three guy thing done with pretty yet still quite low effort vector graphics, besides still in early access, for 27,99€, that's just really rough.

Quoting: Crustacean SoupOh, it works now. Splendid. I have been waiting for this for ages.I see the linux beta option and I have selected it but Steam still says "Chivalry: Medival Warfare is not available on your current platform."Modified the Steam app configuration a bit, it should work now. It may take a few minutes for Steam's servers' cache to update, and you may have to restart the client as well. If it still doesn't work, can you pastebin Steam's logs, or at least any relevant ones? Thanks!

Noct, A Fantastic Top Down Thermal Image Survival Horror Game

Like, I don't want to diss anyone's vision or anything and there's a good chance the game will grow into something of value, but my very first impression was just that. Simple pixelated graphics ran through heavy filtering and distortion, directly vertical view, lone survival against mostly melee opponents. I can't help myself but I had to check if it wasn't done by the same studio (it wasn't).

Can't help myself but it gives me a feeling of somewhat less inspired knockoff of Teleglitch.
