3rd party KDE Plasma Global Themes and Widgets can lead to data loss

Before anyone goes "curate the store" then I need to ask you: With what resources? Are you going to do it? There's really not enough people to curate the place considering how much stuff gets uploaded there. If you're willing to help then that would be awesome though!

Second, "just remove the thing" is also something that yes, it's the obvious way, but then people will complain nothing works anymore.

Personally I was not even aware global themes can do this, but as far as I know, it should be only global themes and maybe widgets that can run stuff.

The whole thing needs improvement, that's for sure.

Edit: If I were to be the ultimate dictator of Linux systems, I would just make rm commands ask confirmation and break everyone's shell scripts. ;P

Quoting: Purple Library GuyWasn't tearing supposed to be a bad thing? Why are we trying to make it happen now?
Vsync (the thing that fixes tearing) can cause a lot of latency and can be noticeable especially in fast paced games.

People who don't notice it either don't play those games or are old. ;)

I used to disable vsync/compositing even on Windows: Using non-aero theme. And it made the gameplay always more smoother and gave more perf for the game instead of doing some fancy stuff for my desktop that wasn't in my focus at all.

I had someone post a game I made (it's free on itch.io) to steam. This happens probably way more often for us small name hobbyists and indies, so make sure to double check especially if you see a small game that it's uploaded by right person.

I'll give it a go, but knowing Nexon is part of it, it's likely gonna die a MTX death sooner than people expect.
