I like racing games, but the color scheme in this one gives me a headache... :/ The racing games I played back in the day on my Amiga didn't look like that, did they? Well, admittedly Outrun did have bright colours all over the place, but games like Jaguar XJ220 (ahh, the nostalgia), Test Drive and Road Rash certainly did not. Then again, I have no idea what the racers you'd play at the actual arcade looked like back then.

This does not seem to affect only "green" WD drives. I have a 2.5" WD Scorpio Black (WD2500BEKT), and it had the idle3 timer set to 8 secs as well. But then again, it is a "notebook hard drive". Currently serving as a backup drive in our Linux gaming / entertainment box though, so disabled the timer in the black as well as in the green it's sitting next to.

I do love Aspyr, even though their port of Civ V made my wife hog our living room gaming rig for a solid two weeks. And she never plays games.
I also love GOL. This is simply the only news source any Linux gamer needs. Tons of high quality, well written articles with actual information instead of rumours and guesswork.

I've definitely heard of Strife, but I always thought it was just another generic Doom clone.
Also, GamingOnLinux has pretty hair and smells kinda nice.

Quoting: liamdaweI know it's old, but something about the speech in this game just makes me cringe. If the voices are cringeworthy, it has nothing to do with the game being old. No one dared dream of voice acting in games back in 1988, so feel free to blame the developers of the remake for hashing it.
The Witcher 2 For Linux Released On GOG

GOG provides instructions and a form at http://thewitcher.com/backup/ [External Link] to request a "replacement" key if you cannot do this for some reason. Running Linux exclusively (and refusing to install Steam on wine) was good enough and I got mine a couple of days after submitting a request. You need to grab a screenshot to prove you've actually bought the game and that your email address matches the Steam account. Just follow the instructions.

Thnx...unfornately Witcher 1 doesnt show any key in Steam only Wt2.Apparently the game needs to be installed (or downloading/installing) for the key to be available.

Great ideas, both of them. Voted. Can't say I'm very optimistic, though.
Quoting: FutureSutureI wish the aforementioned wishlist items would get as many votes as this editorial is getting views...You need a GOG account to vote. Sure, signing up is free, but that's often reason enough for people not to bother.
