From the look of it and what I gathered from the tutorial the game seems fun, but really needs bot players at very least. Looked for a game to a find nothing but empty servers

Rather aside from the point, but very impressed and glad to see how much weight Gaben has lost. Good on him

Ah yes, the game I tried getting my friends to play but everyone else thought it looked boring.
I remember a lot of audio glitches in the Linux version, so good to see them cleaning the version up for the Deck.

There are so few laptops with dedicated AMD GPUs

Splitgate - Beta Season 1 is out now with a Map Creator

Splitgate is a ton of fun, I just find myself aggressively offput by the menu feeling like some mobile game that just wants my money.

I also wish there was a setting to disable skins, so everyone was just red and blue armored dudes with non-pink/lime/whatever guns. I know they are small gripes overall, but definitely keeps me from playing at all

Quoting: FredrikI wonder if that means hdr support is coming. And I also hope they will make wayland usable with nvidia cards too.
Is whether or not Nvidia works well with Wayland not more of an Nvidia problem than a Wayland problem?

Collabora's work on a Wayland driver for Wine is coming along nicely

Quoting: STiATUsing KDE, Wayland is not an option with NVidia yet anyway. Unless you want to move your mouse so that anything is done and rendered at all ... think this bug exists now since october.
Is Wayland usable for games on AMD? I have a Nvidia system and wayland halves my framerate in games at best and makes them unplayable at worst.
Works great outside of games for me otherwise.

Scream Fortress XIII is live in the free to play Team Fortress 2

Quoting: torkel104How is the bot situation in this game now? A few months ago it was completely unplayable as every match contained more bots than humans. And not the good kind of bots that you expect in a multiplayer game to fill out servers. No, these are community-run, malicious bots that play as sniper and instantly kill every player who enters their line-of-sight
It's not bad at all. I regularly play casual payload and only see a single bot every few games. And when they join they get almost immediately kicked. If you play during odd times like weekday mornings (USA) you'll probably see a much worse bot problem. But even then, there's always community servers which bots don't seem to join at all.
