Happy birthday and thank you!

I'm a recent member of the community of this beautiful site here, but it's become a place I enjoy and cherish more than most online these days. Nobody seems to be chasing likes or karma or engagement metrics here, and it just feels so human and so natural in many ways.

Here's to another 15 years!

PVKK from the Dome Keeper devs has you manually control a massive planetary defence cannon

Quoting: gaboverstaI am disappointed that someone decided to not strictly stick to Planetenverteidigungskannonenkommandant as the titel and introduced an acronym.

The game looks interesting though.
In all honesty, this is a very accurate way to portray a German term, especially in the industrial and military sense. Some examples:
- Personenkraftwagen (Pkw)
- faserverbundkunststoff (FVK)
- Generaloberstabsarzt (GOSA)

So, it's pretty lore accurate!

Glyphica: Typing Survival brings typing games into the survivor-like era

Quoting: Purple Library GuyI'm not bad at typing, actually. This could be a game I wouldn't suck at!
I'm GOOD at typing and got overwhelmed after 10 minutes.

The game's a blast, reminds of the more mature Flash games of the era, but more polished. The focus on typing is amazing!

Would be especially cool to see a way to play and control the game without leaving the home row, either through vim motions or just typing EVERYTHING out.

Would've missed it without this article, thanks!

Streets of Rogue 2 is going to be massive and I'm hyped

Can't wait to sink in dozens, hundreds of hours into the game only to never actually finish it because it's just big and great and fun.

Devs and games like these are such a blessing, because they create something unique and special by taking all sorts of risks and experimenting with ideas.

When it's out, I wonder for how long I'll forget about other games entirely.
