Would be interesting how many of this "33 million cheat attempt" was real ones or just incompatible hardware, outdated software or linux users trying to play. I work as a software developer and know that numbers should be looked carefully if you do not have any way to verify them.
Number look good? Publish number :D

they need to either find a way to get the majority of online multiplayer games working, or find a way to convince developers to actually support Linux-based operating systems.
As long as they do it safely without poisoning Linux with the same garbage system-wide data collection Windows has..

Quoting: voxHaven't heard about any problems with akonadi, but heard and suffered enough through baloo`s BS. Many people suggest turning it off, deleting it and like physically scraping it from the hard drive with a rusty knife - just to be sure. So be advised about it. It "works" on my system, but sometimes it doesn't when you need it. Some people say, that it never actually works, despite being very busy all the time.
I have had personal experience with Baloo as well, disabling it is definitely recommended until they fix it (if they haven't already), although I don't even notice any downside to disabling it.

I'm surprised that anything else other than an Arch-based distro is being recommended, after trying everything personally I find the Aur to be insanely valuable for making everything you could need easily installable and *available* and having up to date on the edge software has big advantages too.. Been rolling with EndeavourOS for a long time now without any issues, also I have it set up on BTRFS with snapshots now and never have to worry. It's just - better - in my opinion.

Liam can post whatever they want, but besides that Red Alert 2 is a game I still play today and from the looks of it I'll be playing Fractured Alliance as well.
