Looks interesting. Hope they consider a DRM free version down the road. I made a request on the GOG wishlist for it.

Valve shoots down Itch stores attempt to get their client on Steam

I don't really care myself because i'd stick with the DRM free Itch store over Steam anyway but I find ut funny that Valve quashed this considering all of the low quality crapware they allow through. I get it from a business standpoint but it makes them look like petty fools when digital homicide can get their games on Steam but Itch can't get their store on Steam.

Awesome news. Even better is that I have heard from a user over on Phoronix's forums that it ran great on his 7850. Gives me hope for my R9 390.

Well if it may one day see a Linux port then I can say it may one day see a purchase from me.

Kona, a good looking first person adventure game now in Early Access, some thoughts

I told them on GOG that I would purchase it as soon as they added Linux support. True to my word the day they added Linux to GOG I bought it after I was done work. I'm waiting to play it until it is released though. I don't want to spoil it for myself.

I feel happy with this. I try to only purchase DRM free myself but I am grateful for Valve for shining a spotlight on Linux because it has helped a lot. I agree with Liam that day 1 releases are key and more AAA support. I think both of those are improving. More variety would help as well, I love shooters and RPGs myself and while I get my RPG fill on Linux shooters are few and far between. That goes back to the AAA support though as FPS and TPS are more of a AAA genre with few indie releases.

Syndrome, a survival horror game from Camel 101 has a pretty good new trailer

Hopefully they have a DRM free version planned. I created a request for Syndrome on GOG if anyone wants to help lend support.

I've already completed the game on Windows but I'd happily gift a copy to a buddy to throw some support their way when it comes out.

I don't play multiplayer games much anymore but for $5.49 CAD i'll support them for making a Linux version. The game at least opened for me luckily, I know many wer ehaving issues with it launching.

Obsidian and Paradox team up for new RPG called Tyranny and it's coming to Linux

Quoting: BillNyeTheBlackGuyNice. Here's hoping they go for turn based combat this time.

I can't think of an Obsidian game where they used turn based combat. I wouldn't be against it but I wouldn't get your hopes up.
