I own it already but I haven't played it yet. Looks like I'll be holding off playing it until I can do so on Linux. Hopefully GOG gets the Linux version as well as Steam.

Looks interesting. Good news is if you buy from their website they say they will offer a DRM free copy to you once the game is finished. I think I'll wait until that's offered for sure before buying.

I can understand some people's reluctance to use Kickstarter but there's almost as much risk in buying a $60 AAA these days. With Kickstarter you spend closer to $15 and help fund a game that might otherwise not get made. With the $60 AAA game you usually end up beta testing their latest buggy release wondering why you trusted them. Both have risks. The Kickstarter may not get made, the AAA game may be crap. I'm a lover of the indie scene and think they're doing the best work right now. If I can scrounge up $15 in the next 33 days you can bet I'm backing this.

Anyone using these as a main drive are doing it wrong anyway. They are meant as storage drives not as program or OS drives.
C4 Engine Drops Linux Support, Developer Says Linux Is Inferior

I have never heard of this developer or this engine. Their childish behavior doesn't make me want to buy their product though. I know boycotting an engine could be a bad idea. I mean I would have to miss out on any game that uses it such as City Bus Simulator 2010 or Fat Princess Adventures. How can I do that to myself ?

Sadly it doesn't appear that any store other than Steam carries the Linux version. It would be nice to have a DRM free version of the Linux edition.

I own the Steam edition but haven't played it yet so I'll wait for the Linux version. If GOG gets the Linux version I'd shell out the money for a DRM free copy.

I was excited until I saw it was multiplayer only. I wish it the best but I'm a single player only guy.
