A bit sad they dropped the idea of supporting Vulkan due to the amount of work involved for "not enough benefit" at the moment. We'll see, maybe that will change in the future.

Killing Floor 2 for Linux is 'indefinitely on hold' as they can't find a developer

At least a proper honest reply with reason. Sad still, but I appreciate the honesty about the topic by Tripwire.

While I do not care a lot for shooters lately, it's cool Sam4 is coming (and I'll be buying anyway).

The Steam Hardware Survey for December 2017 shows a reasonable increase for Linux

Most interesting is the w/o chinese market share. China is a huge market, and it was to be expected that overall numbers decline. But the number w/o chinese shows we actually are pretty stable, and at a mark I'd say is realistic (1.5-2%).

So it seems it's due to the heavy steam grow that our percent numbers decline, but the number of users should have grown accordingly. Maybe not as fast as we would wish it, but growth is growth.

Wine 3.0 RC3 is now available, brings even more bug fixes

Quoting: liamdawe
Quoting: STiATHmh, I don't see anything released ... am I missing the source code? There is none visible for me in the repo.

Seeing the PAL code though.
From the Telegram Group chat [External Link], the AMDVLK is just info. The xgl repo is the vulkan api implementation that works with the PAL code.
Ahh, ye, looks good. I'll start digging :-).
