They've actually seemed to have fixed several issues with streaming from linux desktop. Just a few months ago I couldn't get it to work streaming from my desktop to steam deck. It would either just fail to connect and error out, or wouldn't stream video, and sometimes other quirks with audio and input.
It's still not a 100% perfect experience, but it's getting super close!

I found the amount of platforming to be incredibly off-putting personally. I think games like this have a place for sure and many people would enjoy the blend, but a lot of game media is blowing it up purely off the similarities it has to oldschool square/enix Rpgs.
Players should know that they will need to enjoy platforming as well to enjoy this game though!
