Actually it does not lag as much as I could fear, however it lags a bit. But anyway thanks to the porter.
The first time I did not go to the main menu, but the next time things went fine.
A glitch :
- Resolution cannot be changed. If you're in 16:10 resolution is locked to 1280x800 and in 16:9 it is locked to full HD.

It lags on my machine with high details (GeForce 970, Core i7 4790 and 32 GB RAM).
However it seems stable.

I have a Zotac GeForce 970 on my Linux box and it works fine.
I had previously on another box a Gainward GTX 460 which ran out of order because the mosfets did not have a heatsink... Then on that box I went with a Zotac 660 Ti and all the issues were gone.
The only issue with my 970 is that I need to use a PPA for drivers on my Ubuntu 14.04 LTS. I hope this will be fixed with the next HWE.

Napoleon Total War ?
I suggest it because it is the order in which Total War games were ported on MacOS. However it's true that BioShock could also match this...

Thanks for the tip. You can avoid shutdown / reboot by suspend/resume the PC, this also works.

Personnally I do not use Wine anymore except maybe for very old games such as 3D Ultra Pinball that would not run under modern OSes. I prefer having a Windows VM for Windows games and using Linux for the other stuff (including... Linux games ;-) )
And I do not use multiboot anymore on my new PC as it is too hard to maintain, and I'm too lazy to reboot my PC.
