Will be getting this for sure, big fan of the series. Just hope it goes on sale on release date, £35 is a bit much for a game which has only had incremental improvements since Tropico 3.

Guess Notch just took $2.5 billion from Microsoft for something they won't be able to do anything with. I would have done the exact same thing in his position.

Not dissing dual-booters or Ubuntu users (I use Xubuntu and Kubuntu myself), I was referring to OMG Ubuntu, its content and readership.

Quoting: XodetaetlThat's awesome! This should come pre-installed on all distributions :PAre there any plans to include some sort of universal gamepad configuration?Absolutely. It's one of the features that shouldn't be too long to come, I think.

Are there any plans to include some sort of universal gamepad configuration? It would make it easier, especially for emulators like Mupen64plus which don't have a UI.

Quoting: XodetaetlNice! I've set it up now. The main reason I stopped using emulators is because they were a mess to have lots of, so this should be perfect. Might start buying more DRM-Free stuff now as well.Quoting: Segata SanshiroDoes it have support for emulators?Yes, most emulators are already supported.

What really put me off the site though is this mac-like cultish devotion to the distribution. When Cannonical were making terrible decisions left, right and centre, the readership were hailing them as the greatest decision ever (mostly because they like corporate gimmicks like "convergence" because like I said, closet Mac users) like in the Steve Jobs days when followers would hysterically cry over the release of a new cable. Obviously doesn't apply to everyone, probably just the more vocal people.

Not a surprising statistic as OMG's following isn't fully Linux gaming related, but more of a general Ubuntu site. Not to be too harsh to OMGUbuntu, but I see it more as a site for closet Mac users who use words like "apps" instead of "programs/software", are really keen on buying a £400 Ubuntu Phone (or just pay ridiculous amounts for hardware in general) and change their icon themes every 2 days so it looks more like OSX. Get the impression that there's a breed of "ultra-hipsters" out there who see Apple as too "mainstream" and choose Ubuntu as a lifestyle statement rather than a functional OS.

whopping 58% dual-boot for gaming. This is out of 7,300+ people and only around 20% no longer dual-boot.Looking at the figures for the GOL poll, I can already say that those stats are WAY different. It's a shame though that GOL doesn't have the readership to pull off 7,000 responses (the poll is currently at around 10% of that) considering this is a much better site in almost every respect.

This is a very good idea. Does it have support for emulators? If so, I think I will use this to manage emulators and Steam for native Linux games.

I hope this makes it. Must be really infuriating to have a campaign and have it miss out on the goal by a tiny margin - Kickstarter really sucks for that kind of thing, if the funding is within 5-10% of the goal by the end, then they should automatically extend the limit by a couple of days.
