Speculation: BioShock Infinite Might Be an eON port
8 Dec 2014 at 6:56 pm UTC

I never had issues with Witcher2 (I also have Nvidia, and am using the Nvidia drivers rather than nouveau). So if Bioshock:Infinite is eON, I have no problem with this. If it's easy to port games with eON, bring them ALL on. Seriously, I don't see a downside here.

I loved the original, so I'm very excited to see this one coming to Linux.

A Linux Port Of Frozen Synapse Prime Is Unlikely

I'm sure the guy is being honest and upfront, mostly. I don't believe it's the best practice to calculate game sales off of platform sales, because platform sales are not precise and they are great investments. One passionate player on the paltry Linux side of things can sell the game to 10 other people who might not have bought it otherwise; it's just good advertisement to have your game on all platforms.

But the fact still remains that Linux gaming is a small market. So is Mac, which is why they also don't get all but the major releases. We are dependent upon SteamOS to propel us into the realm of people who are using Linux without caring that they are using Linux (because in their minds they are using SteamOS), and I can only hope that Valve markets the hell out of SteamOS.

I am just glad that they are recognising that yes, Linux users will pay for games.......and we pay MORE than Mac and Windows users. Nice to see our efforts applauded.

Dead Island Zombie Game Now Available On Linux For Some (updated)
27 Oct 2014 at 10:26 pm UTC

Started playing this yesterday and I am pleased as punch. Performance is great, I have all the highest settings turned on. The only weirdness was that it defaulted to launching in windowed mode instead of fullscreen, but otherwise the experience was flawless.

No complaints here. I've never played it on Windows, but did play on PS3. Playing on Linux definitely beats the PS3 in terms of performance and quality.

Highly recommended, if you're a zombie game nut. Honestly, the game itself is basically just Left4Dead2 on a South Pacific island....but being Australian, that appeals to me.

Unity3D Games "Phone Home" With Details Of Your Hardware & Software

I assumed all Steam games did this. I would be surprised if it is ONLY the Unity ones, and I am even more surprised that people are surprised. It's closed source software......what did you expect??

Dragonsphere, Darklands & More Classics Added To Steam For Linux

Not gonna ever complain about games coming to Linux, but I'm not going to buy old games myself. I don't have nostalgia for these clunkers, and I'm only in it for new AAA game titles, like Borderlands 2 and Metro and whatever is next. But it's great to see old games getting a Linux release, because I think some people will really appreciate it. And eventually my favorite games will be "old clunkers" and I'd like it if they got resurrected too!
