FSR is a game changer for everything. Geforce GT 1030 here, I have Dark Souls III in 960x540 resolution (the minimum), while it upscales to my old 16:10 monitor 1440x920; it looks gorgeous, no performance drop, I honestly can't notice any blur.
I wonder if NVIDIA supports DLSS for Geforce GT cards on Linux using Proton. Not that I care too much, FSR and even FSR 2 works incredible passing the right arguments to Proton-GE.

If only I wouldn't have most of those games on Steam...
EXCEPT FROST PUNK, the premise of that game it's fascinating, yet it has such a terrible performance I can't believe it.

Dammit Steam, I know it was impossible to maintain the old old prices because of our mega inflation and people all over the world using VPNs to buy as if they were from here, but the later fact is exactly why you should have gone so far... it's half the country's economy fault, and half something we can do nothing and it's not our fault, VPNs.
I'm from Argentina, have 900+ games since I have been loyal to Steam and only Steam for -I can't even remember how many years, so this is a nice chance to clear some of the immense backlog I have, but... games like The Return of Monkey Island, I played the 2nd when I was a child and sparked something very special in me, I couldn't NOT play such a perfect game, also, it keeps appearing first on the list of games recommend to me... feels bad.
So I ended up pirating it -I say to myself it's ok because it's a games about pirates after all tho...

This game shows how adventure games weren't a fad, I don't what happened or why, but you can become engrossed with The Return to Monkey Island as you would get with any other game that has a story to tell and there's no grinding. I don't know why it hasn't happened for so many years until this game 10/10 came out. Really makes you think.

Quoting: hummer010Turing+ ... this should be pretty mature by the time I can afford a supported GPU!:tongue:But it still includes Turing right? I mean, what will they do, do not support a Geforce GT1080? because that's Turing.

Sounds too good to be true, but I believe it because competition; Intel really open sourced their drivers for their ARC video cards just 2 days ago, and with all the bad PR Nvidia has been getting lately, I can see they being pressured to do "the right thing" for once if they want to stay competitive.

For us 16:10 lovers, I think I couldn't find the option in desktop resolution of 1440x920, because mine says 1280x800 (which I only use in some games that are not well optimized with Wine yet)

Quoting: fagnerlnIt's impossible to exist a system with user rating which works, I lost any hope on this. It's utopicThis, I would also like to add that in this particular case, I never heard of it. I think everyone who knows the OG Privateer would love to try this, specially if it works so well in your aging Geforce 1070 (I bought a 1030 one month ago for my birthday). Again, in this particular case I would blame the PR, also, this is the first time I read about this game on GOL too.
Look at Steam green light, it was awesome in theory: the community curate the content that will reach the store, and the developer don't need to spend money. The reality: a lot of amazing titles stayed on the limbo, while the community keep pushing meme games. Result: valve removed greenlight, now the dev need to put money and any game goes to the store. So we have good games but there's no filter, every day a ton of trash published.
Valve keep trying: the curatory system doesn't work too, the timeline system is helpful to identify review bombing but still don't fix anything - I mean, a review bomb can be valid, and some reviews "out of the bubble" will be ignored.
When I want some game, I simply look for videos on YouTube and look for a reviewer that I agree most of the time.
When I see that a game are injusticed on steam, I leave a small review to help

Quoting: PhlebiacSpeaking of Realms Deep and the Build Engine, it looks like there is an Ion Fury sequel that doesn't use Build or have Linux support: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1733240/Phantom_Fury/ [External Link]Yes, but don't forget the DLC coming for Ion Fury! it promises to be really good
