I'm not playing on my PS5 atm, so maybe I'll get it for the PC if the whole package has a nice a discount.

Quoting: mad_mesaHave you had to add any other settings or use a specific version of Proton? It is maxing out CPU threads for me and running at less than 1 fps after the initial splash screens when it gets to the 'Welcome to Early Access' message.
Not really, I'm always using Proton Experimental.

Ok, I've played the game for 2,5 hours now - the only thing to know is you need to add -ignore-windows-system-certs to the start parameters as there is a certificate problem while authentication of your steam account. (already wrote a report for this setting on protondb)
But I've seen reports of other players still having crashes or can't progress through the portals. I think they are first day launch problems.

I soooooooo loooooooove that theme!!:heart::heart::wub:

I really hope it will be playable with Proton.
The two reports on protondb are saying, it doesn't work
I really, really, really wish it will work on Steam release tomorrow.

Okay, thank you.
I had big trouble with the demo some months ago, and protondb is not yet updated with positive reports.

Quoting: Minuxthey seem to almost completely ignore the Linux side. There's been multiple people who reported this and months ago.
Yeah, it's sad. :(

Quoting: MinuxIt didn't really work very well on Proton for me. So I'm bit sad about this one.
For AMD, I'm using this to the startup options for Proton: (I'm using Experimental)
RADV_PERFTEST=aco %command% --force-vulkan -gfx-enable-gfx-jobs 0
Loadup time might be a bit long, but it works well on my PC.

Finally. After 10 years of waiting I can play the game. But now I don't feel like it any more.

Quoting: ZlopezIf the game is still fun to play without using microtransactions. But usually you want people manipulate to use microtransactions, so you are making things slower without money for longer playing players.
In Path of Exile, you need to pay at least 10-20 bucks to get some more stash space - you don't really need it but you want it, because it's QoL (quality of Life) for the game.
In Last Epoch, you don't have to pay for QoL. In Wolcen, which also works okay-ish on Proton, as well.

Quoting: ZlopezBut PoE is Free to Play so it's understandable that you have microtransactions. Diablo IV and Last Epoch aren't.
Ok, Wolcen is more similar for funding the game - it's just less successful.
Buy "license" for playing, get access - microtransactions for longterm sustainability of the game.
