That beauty down there:
i5 6600K
EVGA GeForce 960 4GB
16 GB RAM
250 GB SSD, 3TB HDD
24" screen
Microsoft ergonomic keyboard, I quite like their hardware, they should just focus on that.
Cheapest corded no-brand mouse I could find.
32" TV is an optional second display.

Walking simulator mystery type game. That's one of my favourite genres. Doesn't offer much replayability, but first time through is a magic ride.

The Witness may one day see a Linux port, for fun or for ideological purposes

Unfortunate. Braid wasn't my type of game, so I never bought it. The Witness is precisely my type of game, though, and I wish I'd had a chance to play it. But it sounds like I could buy it now and have my sale counted as a Windows sale and that would just give this guy further confirmation that he doesn't need to make anything cross platform.

Linux now has 2,000 games on Steam, big milestone

Quoting: AnxiousInfusionOther genres which could please stop flooding Linux are point-and-click, retro 2D, visual novels and puzzle games. There are thousands! Now we need focus from AAA commercial releases.
Oh please no, don't stop the flood. Rogue-like isn't a genre for me, doesn't mean I want less of them. And it's not like Binding of Isaac is what keept Age of Conan from being ported. Different developers, different audience, we have room for both.

So many FPS games, so many rogue-like games, not a single WoW-style MMORPG. I miss that.

Quoting: GuestI never knew we got around ~1500 survey responses per month. I didn't think GoL was that popular, but that's great!
GOL is probably more popular than most people realise, and the people who do this survey are a tiny fraction of our overall visitor count.
It's also linked monthly on /r/linux_gaming subreddit, I expect we have quite a few people filling out the survey who don't regularly visit this site. Might make for an interesting unique question next month.

Day of the Tentacle Remastered will not be on Linux at launch

Meh! They get my money when they ship a game that works well on my computer, not before.

Microsoft's latest tactics show Gabe Newell of Valve was right to worry
2 Mar 2016 at 9:59 am UTC Likes: 2

Now, I'm no fan of Microsoft, but may Gabe be forcing their hand a bit here? He is taking his toys and sharing with all the neighbours, of course Microsoft will want their own toys. Vendor lock-in is literally their corporate strategy and has been for twenty years! Did anyone expect their own games to be sold through Steam? Did anyone expect them to silently sit by and allow Linux to catch up? It's freaking Microsoft!

What game would you most like to see on Linux this year?

Warcraft 3 has been my lone reason to install Wine since I started using Linux.
