Torment: Tides of Numenera launches in Early Access without Linux support, coming much later

Quoting: KeyrockAs someone who gives zero ****s about early access, this doesn't bother me at all, so long as we get day 1 Linux support for the final release. I do understand how it might bother other people who want to beta test this, though.

This.

I don't like early access. I burned myself out on Kerbal Space Program long before the official release, and I still haven't played the release even though I've seen there are some pretty cool things that didn't exist the last time I played it. That was a lesson learned - wait for the actual release before playing a game.

I absolutely get that Linux users who backed at the beta-test levels would be annoyed though - there was never any mention that the Linux version would be later, or not available for beta access. That's always the gamble with crowd funding though. I've been burned enough times on the crowd funding now that I don't get too emotional about it. I also don't crowd fund things any more.

Skyborn, a popular 2D RPG is now on SteamOS & Linux

I got this as a part of a bundle on Indie Royale awhile ago. Sadly, I gave away the steam key, and redeemed the Desura key. Not too surprising, but the Linux version isn't available on Desura or IndieRoyale.

The game is coming to GOG too - hopefully the Linux version shows up there as well.

Looks cool! To bad about the multiplayer-only though.

GOL Cast: Surviving the harsh winter conditions in The Long Dark
7 January 2016 at 10:26 pm UTC

It's on my wishlist. I nearly picked it up during the winter sale, but I don't care too much for early access, so I skipped it.

I'll definitely get it at some point.

I've already got the game on GOG - hopefully the Linux version comes there as well!

Quoting: TheBossWe decided against having anything to put a downer on anyone/developer. Too much hostility around already, no need in an award system.

I respect that! Truthfully, I was kidding, I didn't expect any negative categories.

You forgot the biggest joke of 2015 category.

I guess it's not a fair race - nothing can touch Divinity: Original Sin as the biggest joke of the year!

Saints Row IV now available on SteamOS and Linux

Alright, so I've just purchased IV. I've already got the Third from a Humble Bundle at some point, but I've never played it. Rumour has it that the Third is also coming to Linux. Should I wait for the Third to come to Linux and play them in order, or does it matter?

Quoting: ChuckDaniels87Is Game of the Century Edition the same but full of DLCs?

Are any of the DLC actually worth it? Or are they all just skins and guns?
There are a couple of story DLCs, they're short, but hilarious. Enter the Dominatrix has, no hyperbole, quite possibly the greatest ending in a video game ever. I was smiling so hard the whole time that my entire face hurt.

It's only like $1 more for the Game of the Century, so I guess that's worth it.

Edit: And Purchased.
