Quoting: GuestHowever, it doesn't change my mind about incompetency of Stoic. Choosing Adobe AIR for crossplatform game in 2013, delaying the release for years, finally outsourcing port to some no-name-porter still show how they were "serious" about Linux support from the very beginning. All this drama and withdrawal of native version could be avoided if they knew how to properly do crossplatform development and treated all of their customers equally. So, I won't buy TBS3 (I already have first 2 games from my Windows days) or any other game by Stoic even if it gets whitelisted - their complete incompetence in software development has turned me away.This. I walked away from Stoic along time ago.

I'm with Shmerl on this one. Why would any developer bother to promise updates, but remove the game for sale?? There going to continue with the hard work (updates), and miss out on any possible sales.
It will be very, very interesting to see what happens at GOG when these promised updates are released.
As a guy who owns the game on GOG, I'm at least a little bit concerned.

Yes, because Uber had years to do it and didn't. No, because it is now being supported by a different team, who've only taken over recently.

A new Humble Monthly is out and it’s not bad with Cities: Skylines (and DLC) plus MGSV

Certainly the least compelling initial games in awhile. Especially since I already own Cities + After Dark.

Quoting: GuestWell, to be completely fair, not all microsoft published games are windows or xbox exclusive. This game was surprisingly nice, despite sloppy voice acting https://store.steampowered.com/app/236090/ [External Link]I always found it a bit weird, firing up Dust natively on Linux, and seeing the Microsoft logo.
There was like... one more game that also had linux support, I think Microsoft as a game publisher is probably hands off enough to let devs mostly do whatever the hell they want to do and not be anal about shit like which platforms it supports. If linux gamers want to buy games published by microsoft then hey, more moneys. It's simple logic.

The whole "PC" has been an ambiguous term for a long time. When I was in University, I bought my first computer (A Pentium 100). The computer lab at the university was a lab full of Macintosh PowerPC's.
Someone asked me if I had a PC. I didn't know how to answer which one was a PC?
Admittedly, I was pretty clueless about computer's at the time.
[Edit]I'm a backer, I sure hope Linux support happens. They had a Linux version on the Steam Early Access, didn't they?[/Edit]

Done! Opus Magnum for $15 is worth it. The rest of the games (and the $2 as a monthly subscriber) are just a bonus.
Life is Strange 2 confirmed to be coming to Linux in 2019 from Feral Interactive

Quoting: chepatiFinally, a sensible approach to announcing future porting plans by Feral. There are games that I am eager to play upon release, even if it means booting into Windows. However, if I knew the game was to be ported native to linux, I would delay my purchase so I can order it directly from the porting studio and let them keep all the money.This. Now that they've announced it, I won't buy it until Feral gets the money. It's really in their best interest to announce it as soon as possible.
I find these "teasers" immature and childish. While they try to be cute, they may lose sales just because people have no idea a game they want is about to be ported.
As soon as they finalize the legal paperwork of acquiring the porting rights, just say so. Don't play guessing games.
Sorry for the rant.
I will now delay my Life is Strange 2 purchase so I can order it directly from Feral.
