Done! Opus Magnum for $15 is worth it. The rest of the games (and the $2 as a monthly subscriber) are just a bonus.

I find these "teasers" immature and childish. While they try to be cute, they may lose sales just because people have no idea a game they want is about to be ported.

As soon as they finalize the legal paperwork of acquiring the porting rights, just say so. Don't play guessing games.

I will now delay my Life is Strange 2 purchase so I can order it directly from Feral.

This. Now that they've announced it, I won't buy it until Feral gets the money. It's really in their best interest to announce it as soon as possible.

But in the mean time the most realistic approach is to do what System 76 has been doing being a manufacturer and slowly but surely pushing the envelope and showing x86 manufacturers that it is in the end in their best interest to simply just open the platform so that roadblocks stop being thrown at them.

Unless things have changed recently, System76 isn't a manufacturer. The sell System76 branded Clevo/Sager laptops.

Except that they don't make they're own hardware (or at least they haven't). They're dependent on their supplier.

I agree though. I bought a new laptop recently, and I wanted to buy a System76, but I wanted AMD, so I don't have a System76.

As far as I know they announce as soon as they are allowed to. You know what an NDA is?

On-topic: F1 2018, Life is Strange2, Hitman 2 or Shadow of the Tomb Raider would fit with Feral's history, though no clue from the hints.

Then don't announce anything until the NDA expires.

I agree with Comandante Ñoñardo, at this point in time, it seems a bit silly to start these guessing games.

Good news indeed! I'm looking forward to it as well. I played a little bit of the In Development version using WINE along time ago, and was pretty pumped about it back then.

I think much of the disdain for the game comes from the pricing and packaging changes that happened very publicly through the development. I might be more bitter about things if I'd paid full price. As it stands, I've paid $30CDN (about $23USD) for the game, which at it's current price, seems like a steal!

It's probably better if you didn't play the first game. Then you won't be disappointed that it doesn't quite live up to the original. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed Tides of Numenera, and it's a good game, but it just wasn't quite as good a story as Planescape.
