Is this any good? I've played plenty of games aping Pokémon, but they all comes off as just that: a cheap facsimile of something with much more personality.
I thought the gameplay changes in TemTem were miles ahead of what Pokémon has been doing, but again, the creature designs don't live up to even the most middling of Pokémon.

I installed Caveblazers on the Deck yesterday actually, works perfectly fine as you'd expect, and bouncing on heads with the downwards strike is outrageously fun, but I was amazed at how bad I was at it this time round.
I believe I beat it (under some definition of "beat" for rogue-lites) years ago, but I was struggling massively this time round. It has a certain floatiness to it, not too dissimilar to the original Super Mario Bros, and I think it takes some time getting used to.
Still, if you're looking for an option for the bundle, I'd heartily recommend it if you're into the genre. Doesn't push the boundaries that much either for newcomers.
