I'm curious what impact Wayland Wine will have on gamescope?

I love what Fedora does but once I started using other package systems 25+ years ago it's really hard to give up the massive package repositories provided by deb and arch based distributions. Finally, they've tried for years to improve the speed of their package managers but they are terrible every time I give them a try.

I found it was an exercise in storage management and got frustrated quickly. Need to give it another try and see if there is a mod to remove that annoyance.

I gave it a try awhile back and it was just too heavy for the low-end hardware I was trying to run it on. Compare that to running HoloISO which had no problem.

Quoting: HohlraumMyself and and a few other users informed the dev that the demo doesn't work on steam deck for us. It launches but when you go into any menu item from the home the screen goes black. I'll have to try it out again tonight.
Still trying to fix but it's beyond our expertise, have escalated it to the engine devs to see if they can help.
I ended up buying it once it got Verified. Still goes to a black screen. So I tried doing a verify on the local files and now launches in a different language and can't switch it back. :/

This is mentioned in the article. It seems specific to docking. Worked fine in handheld mode.
I'm not using it in docked mode.

Surprising probably no one, most people use the Steam Deck as a handheld

One metric I'd be curious about is how many people aren't using the SD controls themselves and instead opt for an external controller. I have hundreds of hours on my SD now and I'll bet I've spent less than 3 hrs total actually holding the thing. I would be perfectly happy if a tablet FF SD was released that relied entirely on external (or detachable) controls.
