Humble Indie Bundle 12 Launches With Lots Of Great Games
9 Sep 2014 at 5:46 pm UTC

Maybe no new Linux ports. But Gunpoint is now available for Linux DRM-free, is it not?

I'll probably get the bundle for Gunpoint alone, which I've been really looking forward to (and which is pretty much the only game interesting to me in this bundle).

Nothing there that tickles my fancy/that I don't own already. Pass.

This War Of Mine From 11 Bit Studios To Be On Linux At Launch

True, Anomaly and Anomaly 2 are meanwhile also available DRM-free (the latter only through Games Republic). But originally, they were only distributed through Steam.

I thought that this won't be any different with This War of Mine but just saw that Games Republic is offering the game also DRM-free. Games Republic is not an option for me as it requires PayPal. But maybe the game will also be distributed (for Linux) through GOG.com. That would be splendid.

This game would be a day one purchase for me. Unfortunately, 11 Bit Studios' games almost always require Steam. So I hope that this game will make it eventually into a Humble Indie Bundle because it sure looks very interesting!

The new materials (as far as I’ve discovered them) are really nice. They definitely add a nice touch to the scenery. I have yet to find such a beautiful looking savannah though. Nice screenshots, HadBabits.

Firewatch, A First Person Mystery Game Finally Reveals Itself In A Trailer

Watching the trailer, I have no clue what this game is about. But I agree, the artwork looks fantastic! And, quite to my surprise, so is the voice acting.

I'll keep and eye out for this title.

This news made me start playing Shadowrun Returns for the first time; and I'm actually quite enjoying it.

Now I'm looking forward for the free update of Dragonfall. :-)

The Metro Redux FPS Games Will Require OpenGL 4 On Linux

I was never particularly interested in Metro but have to say that the Redux version looks pretty impressive. I could imagine picking it up for Linux if it weren’t a Steam-only title.
