GOG Announce DRM-free Movies, And Some Games Are Being Removed

I'm not very fond of the new design. But I like the new payment options. The addition of movies I find pretty nice too. That they can be streamed online just tops this new offer off. I've already picked Indie Game: The Movie SE up.

The Funding Crowd 37 (Aug 6th-26th)

Quoting: flesk[...]I've recently decided that the stance I'm most comfortable with regarding campaigns that offer Linux only as a stretch goal is that I won't back the campaign until after the stretch goal has been met. Still, I'm much more eager to back a campaign that has Linux as goal right from the start.
+1

I wouldn't back any project up that isn't offering a DRM free Linux version. That's the only thing I'm interested in.

For me personally, the Kickstarter hype has died down though. I have backed some projects up but in the end, haven't had the feeling it was really worth it. I rather follow the development now and pick the game up when it is finished.

Oh, some very interesting titles there! Especially Script Kiddies, Fritz and especially The Sun also Rises. I’m really thinking about backing up some projects again.

Hard West could’ve been a great game. But they lost me with all this nightmare and mystical stuff.

The Witcher 3 For Linux Remains Officially Unconfirmed

@ minj, Spl-it Ah, so I'm not the only one after all who was a little… "surprised" by that statement.

When I read "PC, Xbox One and PS 4, same quality" the first things that came to my mind where QTE, stupid spawning of enemies, predefined path in a game that pretends to be open world and rolling around like a lunatic monkey on steroids™, which we already have in Witcher 2. ^^

Oh, sweet! I like the game. I’ll pick it up DRM-free once it’s done for Linux. :-)

Mini Metro A Deceptively Simple Looking Strategy Game Now On Linux

Bought this game month ago when it was still in alpha and am loving it! So simple, yet so addictive.

The beta looks beautiful! Can't wait for the full version.

@ Segata, there's no audio yet (it's mentioned in the changelog).

DayZ Looks Like It Will Come To Linux In Future

I'm not really interested as all games by Bohemia Interactive are Steam exclusive these days. However, I also think that DayZ coming to Linux (if it will ever come) will take a lot of time…

Loved the original mod. One of the most remarkable and memorable games I've played in recent years.
