I never use vsync...it goes against my middle class sensibilities

I have to say that the game initially ran like the poops for me (medium settings = avg 30fps) but after turning off AA, forcing my cpu governor to performance (sudo cpupower frequency-set -g performance) in terminal and then cracking up every other in game setting to high to compensate visually for the lack of AA, I averaged 50fps in the city....not too shabby for initial release on Eon

I do have to say though, that I have been waiting for this since it's original announcement by Leszek a couple of years back. It is one of those games that really went under the radar with a lot of people which is a shame since it is almost a Zelda game for non-nintendo systems.

OOOoooooo. Anarchy Online got me through so many quiet spells when I was working from home on remote management. Thats when I fell in love with Linux since all our tux servers never went down..... it was always the windows ones that crashed out
