Quoting: Keyrock"you must build a relationship with a lonely spaceship computer "If you watch the trailer you know its 100%
You need to build a relationship with an AI? What are the chances the AI eventually tries to kill you? 99%? 99.9%? 99.9999999999999%?

Quoting: EikeYeah I saw that but I have solved all the puzzles using the size challenge so far. Most of the time you can solve the speed challenge that way too.Quoting: Farmboy0I have been going for the size optimization challenges. Mostly this gets you the steps optimization challenge too but not always or I haven't looked hard enough. For many of the more complex puzzles, you can do either speed or steps in one program.
But you can start the next program (there are tabs for thee programs in the upper right) and do the other challenge as well.

Still an enjoyable game.I found some optimization puzzles to be challenging.
Btw, they said that all speed optimization challenges except the obvious case are solvable without loop unrolling:

I recently tried Tomb Raider but with the camera controls as they are and all those QTEs I find the whole game too horrible to play. The lack of performance doesn't help either. And let no one tell you the game is playable on Mesa 11.2. Thats a blatant lie.
I played some Human Resource Machine but the puzzles are simply not challenging. Still an enjoyable game.
I started with Episode 1 of Supreme League of Patriots yesterday and while I agree with the reviews I find the game interesting enough to continue playing it.

Looks like some people have implored him to use SDL2 instead but I somehow doubt he will listen.
Hopefully he will though. * fingers crossed*

Quoting: wintermuteNo I didn't. I assumed your link was referring to some announcement that C1 should now work with wine which I have already read.Quoting: Farmboy0After the game starts all I get is a black screen.Did you read the post on WINE I linked to earlier? Have you made the autoexec.cfg change described there?
Please also post this info in the GOG forum for the game not only on steam.

I wish C1 actually worked with wine. It doesn't for me. After the game starts all I get is a black screen. Sometimes I get it to display graphics only to have it return to black sooner or later. The game sounds really interesting but with all the history I would be a fool to kickstart this project.
