Quoting: GuestI can confirm that Artifex Mundi games are not DRM-free, or at least that they require Steam. I tried launching Clockwork Tales with Steam closed, and it launched Steam automatically.
I tested using the steam_appid.txt file with some of their games (Grim Legends 3, Mythic Wonders) and they worked without opening steam.

That looks like a King Penguin(wiki [External Link] and if you read the notable section [External Link] you'll see that in this [External Link] Batman movie they used 12 king penguins.
So to me it's probably a Batman game.

Unity3D Games "Phone Home" With Details Of Your Hardware & Software

I checked the player settings editor (4.6 beta) and there is no option to deactivate the "Phone Home" in the standalone player(win, mac, linux). The iOS, Android and Blackberry players let you deactivate hardware statistics (turned on by default on iOS and Android).

Valve Are Tracking SteamOS Issues With AMD Graphics

The crackling sound over HDMI happens with the open-source driver too. I don't have a steamOS box, but a HTPC with Athlon 5350 and Arch(and openelec in another second partition) as a steam streaming client , and the audio is terrible. The cracking happens only with steam, all other application have no problem with audio, so it might be a problem more on steam side than on the driver (opinion based on usage only).

It seems that here [External Link], and if you have valid game keys, you can get a GOG copy of both the first and second Witcher. A friend told me that the link worked for his steam versions(never tried it, I bought the games again).

Small error in the article, its not Empire: Total War II that might come to Linux but Total War: ROME II (or so the link says).
Now about Empire: Total War, great news, let's see if I'll finally finish the game.

you are forgetting okam studios godot engine
I saw the engine, but couldn't find any mention of Linux support or any other games by OKAM which support Linux. Can you find something confirming support? If so, I'll get the editors to add it in :).
According to the website [External Link], the engine can export to various platforms, including linux.
I can confirm that the editor runs on linux as I've been playing around with it, although I've yet to play with the export capabilities.
The main problem of the engine is the incomplete documentation.
