Islands of Nyne is one Battle Royale game that might get a Linux version in future

While this would be welcome as a native option to fill the battle royal void on linux, it just looks like a bad PUBG clone, that's my main issue with it.

Quoting: XpanderSomehow lately steam overaly doesnt seem to work for me, so i have no idea of real FPS numbers, but it felt constantly above 60 for me with zero drops. thats with Ryzen 7 [email protected] paired with GTX 1070. Running all very high from the menus and 2560x1440 resolution.
Sadly had to use windowed mode as somehow many UE4 games do not scale correctly for me in fullscreen. they just show a small 1920x1080 window on the top right corner of my 1440p monitor and the rest is black. Same issue happens with Helium Rain and Tartarus.

Anyway, so far so Good, Performance is really good and the visuals look nice, Gameplay so far seems pretty much what you expect from games like these, nothing sensational, but not bad either.

Have you considered preloading the location of the overlay binary by adding "LD_PRELOAD=/home/userdir/.local/share/Steam/ubuntu12_64/gameoverlayrenderer.so %command%" in the launch options?

Apparently, Windows 10 S can be upgraded to a "normal" version of Windows 10 Home for free, but the problem is that Microsoft has said around 60% don't even bother to do the upgrade keeping them locked into the Windows Store.
This stuff right here is just Microsoft preying on the ignorance of its users. Just like the free upgrades to Windows 10, the free upgrade to Windows 10 Home will be gone eventually and all of the people that didn't know to upgrade their OS by then have accidentally locked themselves into using a technically inferior product for no benefit.
Actually I took the opportunity to upgrade my parents POS from windows 7 pro to windows 10 pro for free because touch screen support is vastly superior but to each is own :P
You misunderstood my point. My point is not that Windows 10 is an inferior product but that the upgrade opportunity expired. And I predict the upgrade opportunity from S to Home will also expire and S is an objectively inferior product to Home.
Ah gotcha.

Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem (previously Umbra) will not have a Linux version during alpha or beta
25 Jan 2018 at 2:19 pm UTC

Seems they have much bigger problems, like extreme lack of content, which they still need to deliver for it to be even worth considering.

I have no stake in this game as I haven't backed it(thankfully) so take my opinion as you'd like.

For something that looks this good the wheel decals on the track not aligning properly with said wheels during that drift in the gif is really triggering me.

Humble Bundle have some interesting deals going on for Linux gamers

Unfortunately even those humble originals are windows only of late. This month was disappointing but I'll pick up January bundle because of dawn of war 3 alone.
