Technically speaking, kickstarter is not a retailer. Also, any game you back through kickstarter you'll have to redeem through some retailer like Steam, GOG, Humble or the developer's site.

What kind of actual car racing game that attempts to have real looking cars doesn’t have even a hint of engine noise?
Well, https://www.newsday.com/classifieds/cars/mercedes-benz-electric-cars-get-artificial-engine-noise-for-safety-1.6692802 [External Link]
You're actually helping my point, they still put a noise in ;)

Quoting: wolfyrionThe Deluxe Version is around 10GB on Steam...
I'm downloading right now and it's a 2.5GB download, almost 10GB after installed according to steam.

Edit: For the regular version, that is. I'm pretty sure the OST + Artbook don't take much more space though.
Edit2: I'm an idiot. That's for the Deluxe version as I pre-ordered.

Quoting: edqeMaybe their financial situation is so bad that it is simply impossible to give features for free at the moment . Paid units would affect negatively to multiplayer games if others has paid units giving advantage. Maybe nobody would have bought the maps since community could make them for free with the editor.

I don't know ... I guess the situation is bad at the moment but even worse if they would have done otherwise.
Or maybe they shouldn't over-promise what they could do on the kickstarter budget, or make it a bigger one in order to deliver everything they initially promised?

In the end it's all about management and PR. If you don't deliver what you promise because you mis-manage, people are going to be angry at you. If you then proceed to fan the flames by failing at damage control, people will be even more angry at you.
