People need to support indie games more. This is the only way. Let the giants fall.

Bazzite Linux announced two new editions designed for game developers

All fun and games, but as someone who is developing on linux, what are you gonna do from the audio perspective? Coding is coding, let's talk about music production. It is still hell making scores when there's not even a handful of orchestal VSTs. It's been years and I have not seen any progress there. Absolute stubborn companies really :dizzy:

Quoting: 14Thinking about the trailer, I have to say I'm not happy they gave everyone the unexpected simulation of being a peeping Tom to watch a naked lady having a bath, trying to create what privacy she can, without knowing you're watching and zooming in on specific areas of the body. And who is this woman? Someone about to be sacrificed. So, it's fine; she's about to die. She won't care. Her loved ones won't care either. Right? Why is that scene the first thing they show about the new game? Female objectification leads to a society where both men and women reject each other.
Who hurt you?

Quoting: IronownerSilly question. I would love to try, but is rpgmaker allowed? There's still JavaScript coding there...
Admittedly I don't keep up with RPG Maker, but the Game Jam's fourth rule is that your game must have a Linux build, and I'm not aware of any version of the tool that outputs those. :dizzy:
Yeah. it had a native client for some time. Works like a charm too. At least for me.
The rules explicitly allow any engine that can produce a native Linux build, so you should be good to go as long as you fulfil that requirement.
Great. There's a lot of stigma around it and thought it's not looked at as a fully fledged engine.
