Quoting: Segata SanshiroWhaaaaaaat??? How did I not know this was in development?!?! This is an instabuy for me, I love Deponia and coincidentally replaying the trilogy now so this is perfect timing. Really excited :D

Quoting: NatedawgI could be wrong, but weren't the Deponia games made in Godot? :)
It's Wintermute engine like Daedalic's other games. I don't think Godot was even around when the first game came out. Would be super cool if they switched to it though!
I'm pretty sure it was made with Visionaire Adventure Game Engine.

Quoting: liamdaweI have it confirmed from their PR that multiplayer is Linux-Linux only, so not cross platform online.

Are they working on a cross-platform multiplayer?
I think that's due to platform-specific middleware...

They explained it in this reddit post [External Link]

C4 Engine Drops Linux Support, Developer Says Linux Is Inferior

Quoting: adolsonFrom the site that shall not be named: "He says too in the future that they may support SteamOS but that they will not let the engine run on Linux in general."
If it runs on SteamOS, it will run on Linux. I'm always baffled how people like this developer can be able to create games and a game engine on one side but have such a limited view and be unable to understand and cope with slightly different concepts such as Linux on the other side.

Love that game :)
I guess it's time to try it out again, last time there were some game breaking glitches unfortunately (handyman bugs etc)

I'm ok with the new design, although I don't like it when giant pictures prevail over most of the content :)
