Steam Hardware Survey For August 2014, Linux Slips

The most annoying thing about this survey is I've been using Steam on Linux since the day they released the first Beta & I still haven't had a single chance to do the survey on Linux, in that time I've had it show 3 times in Windows, the results are going to be way off because of that.

I'm tired of fighting my machine to get things working, download drivers, install, reboot, repeat, it's a constant battle to make windows actually run, Linux is just a much better platform than Windows ever has been.

I got these in a bundle on Indiegala months ago & never got round to installing them, I'll have to do it now as they look pretty good. I've just noticed I'm missing three of their games so they're now added to my wishlist ready for when I have the cash.

If they get the DLC to work in Linux as well I'll have them, I already own a copy of almost every Total War game, I have a feeling the only ones I'm missing are Rome II & Shogun II. Be nice if they went back & ported the rest as well.

Having played the Windows version I can say it's almost there on Linux, there's a significant slowdown on the Linux version on my machine compared to the Windows version. Could be my machine that's at fault though.
