According to steam I now have Linux versions of both games on their way to my library, happy days. :D

Riptide finished downloading & it's working, I just got killed for the first time just after switching off the gas. hahaha i'm so rubbish at these games.

I've now got the first game downloaded & DIDE as it's calling itself does not overwrite the original game, so right now I have two different copies of Dead Island installed & working in Linux.

Please, Don’t Touch Anything now supports Linux, don't you dare touch that button

I was given a code for this game 6 months ago, I played it on Windows at Christmas with a Steam Link & controller on a big TV & it was loads of fun, not even sure I'll bother to install it if it finally arrives for SteamOS.

Well Valve seem to think they are as they're listed under SteamOS on my machine.

edit: Of course they would be as SteamDB has them listed too. My excuse is I'm not well today, should probably just go back to bed.

The graphical style reminds me a lot of the Spore games, which for me is no bad thing.

In the demo the left ctrl key allows time to move forwards without you having to constantly jig about, I'll be picking up the full game shortly so I don't know if the developers changed it from the demo.
