I have Empire & since yesterday Attila to keep me going till Medieval II & Rome II are ported, I still have a Windows partition if I want to play the others, not that it's going to happen any time soon of course, I've got so many Linux games to play now I just don't have time to mess about with Windows.

It was all very well saying "PC" when Windows was the only OS available for PC, but we have multiple OS available to us now & Windows is only one of the many now, developers need to be clearer these days, if a game only runs in Windows they have to say exactly that or list the alternative OS that it runs in.
It's our job to call developers out when they say PC instead of which OS it supports instead.

Quoting: EikeI like the game very much, played through it on Windows, and when it got ported to Linux I bought Enemy Within and played through in permadeath mode. But when you say you cannot get a grip on it - maybe it's just not your cup of tea?No it's not that, there's just not enough hours in my days to really give this game the time it needs for me to get anything out of it, I love the older games in the series & played them to death when they first came out .

I still haven't got past the first mission on Enemy Unknown, I just never have the time to sit down & really get to grips with it & now they've got a second on the way.

Quoting: Segata SanshiroDamn. Ah well. I'll still try it out when it's out of Alpha I think. You'll have a long wait then, it's been in public Alpha since 2009, you might as well install it now & give it a go, bugs & all.

I haven't been in the mood to play games recently, dealing with real life family health problems including waiting weeks to find out my other half doesn't have cancer, that was a relief I can tell you. :D
