That right there makes this sound like either a microsoft fan boy trolling Linux people, or it's just another stupid rumor.

Exactly, my machine is plenty fast enough to run Windows as well as Linux, the fact it runs Linux better than Windows is beside the point.

My son was bought an Oculus DK2 for christmas, having tried it myself for a few hours I WANT ONE! I'll wait till it's working with Linux, no money from me till then.

Linux users have to play the waiting game again, this is how it's always been, heck we've waited years/decades for game support as good as Valve is supplying, a few more days wait isn't going to kill anyone.

I still have a Windows partition but it's not exclusively for playing games, I use Lightroom to edit photos, if the day comes where the Linux offerings are as good as Lightroom I will switch & have one less reason for keeping Windows around.

The only reason I was going to buy one was Linux support, now that's probably never going to happen thanks to Failbook I'll invest in the Steam one once it's out & supports Linux. Oculus works really well on Windows already, shame!

Well actually it does, there's 125 Million users & unless they ask every single one of them the 1% figure only covers the number they actually asked, they could have asked as little as 100 people. Unless we know how many people are included in the survey they're no use whatsoever.
