andypiper: I'm clearly too much of a n00b (or, alternatively, far too old!) to make sense of things here. I have a Linux machine. I have a Quest 2 headset. What am I installing, exactly, on which device(s), to make this work? I'd be interested in seeing Half Life Alyx for example.Don't worry about asking for help, that's how communities thrive!
- Install Steam Link on your Quest via the Horizon Store
- Install SteamVR on your PC, plus whatever VR game you want to play on your PC (I recommend Propagation VR or Half Life: Alyx for now)
- Open SteamVR
- Open Steam Link and connect to your PC when it shows up
- You should now see the SteamVR Environment. Click the Menu Button to open your Steam Library and select the game you want to play.
- Enjoy!

although it's clearly still a work in progress with game support being limited as some don't work at all yetIt is very much a work in progress, since on my Bazzite machine, it requires command line arguments to work properly, and even then, it only seems to work with 2 games (Half Life: Alyx and Propogation VR). Everything else just crashes.

I still don't know why they removed splitscreen coop. It's not like splitscreen is that difficult these days. There are plenty of libraries, such as SDL, that let you know which controllers are connected to a PC, so it isn't too hard to set up assigning players to them. Hell, Resident Evil 5 and 6 has splitscreen, and those games were released more than a decade ago!
Deep Dish Dungeon looks like a great co-op dungeon crawler

Just add bethesda game support manAs if that's easy. There's not exactly a button that, when pressed, magically adds Bethesda game support to this in-development tool. Bethesda games are notoriously finnicky, but they're also the most popular games to mod, so they're probably holding off on them and working on easier games to mod until they're confident they can properly support Bethesda games.

This is why you don't source models from Sketchfab, especially for something like cars. Sometimes, people will just put stuff up there without any regards to licensing. Though, in this case, it seems that the original uploader changed their mind.
If anything, try opengameart.org, where yyhe content have a licence that clearly states what you can and can't do. At least, that way, you can't get sued or DMCA'd.

I kinda want to test how good this thing is, compared to NucleusCoop.
On the one hand, sandboxing is a Linux-native feature, so it should work better than the hacks that Nucleus uses.
On the other hand, NucleusCoop has had so many more years of development behind it, and also works with Epic Games and GOG games.
