Yeah, I guess I meant to say it will be in the Library after you install Steam Linux :)

I am not really sure which is it - you don't know how Steam works or you are trying to troll me :)

Let's say you have Steam account and you are on Windows. Once you purchase a game, e.g. SS:BR, that has Mac OSX and Linux port, you can install it on any of those OS. So let's say you have dual boot with Ubuntu. That means once you install Steam on Ubuntu, SS:BR will be automatically downloaded and you can also play it on Linux. Which translates into "on Windows, you play SS:BR for Windows, on Linux you play SS:BR for Linux; no more mixing up binaries for different OS".

Where have I ever said "SS:BR is Steam exclusive now" ? o_O

Perhaps.. I just was under impression it's already going on o_O (as I don't keep up with much right now while working on Steel Storm 2)

Hmm.. I wonder why I was asked if I want to make Linux version available for SS:BR customers.. Anyhow, yes, but no longer. Now every OS gets its set of binaries. Just like if you have no Mac OS X, you won't have binaries for that under Windows. So now since Steam is on Linux too, Linux binaries are only available on Steam Linux.

Interstellar Marines on Kickstarter!

I recall they already raised $1.5 million dollars from the community several years ago. What happened to that money  Their video shows nothing of AAA FPS games and no new footage :/

The Kickstarter says "Planned for Steam". Did they get accepted after all ? Cos I see no confirmation anywhere :/

Yeah. I just signed up with new programmer and created base code base for idTech 4 (no more DarkPlaces). So, ToM has been having hard times unfortunately. No ETA on SS2, but one thing I can tell for sure - it will be on Steam :)

I found an article on how to clean up Nvidia drivers mess. I don't think it's Compiz per se because before I installed new drivers I had no issues with performance in games. So I will give it a shot and will post an update.

This time I got ffmpeg working on Windows so after capturing video with Fraps I convert it into MP4 and upload it to YouTube. That's how I did all the videos except maybe a few that don't play on Linux (that was Fraps AVI directly uploaded to YouTube).

Quoting: "dimko, post: 5335"I am typically first to bitch about any issues, but this did look good.
Though after first game of this stria, i realised, this sort of games are not for me. It does look good, none the less.

Thanks :) What kind of games are for you?
