Quoting: Xpanderyou are crazy ... with that resolution it runs a bit better ofc..but this game has minimum of 560.. your 440 wont qualify in any way.
You kinda crushed me there... I never felt there was anything I couldn't play so far.. I just had to cut the effects a little u.u

I wish I could try it out to check if i find it tolerable to play lowering the visual effects... after they make the fixes i guess of course

Quoting: Xpanderyes its is very low..
will fix it fast, before he returns to say that TF2 and Dota2 run fine..

this card probably wont run metro redux on 1080p even let alone dying light
Well, i play 1280x1024... not sure that qualifies as HD. It cost me 200euros 3 years ago or so... Not sure if that is very low end or not... but I play most of the games fine, just not in ultra high settings... bl2, metro last light, witcher 2...

I just tried redux version to check out the fps (since I already finished it the non-redux version and hadnt tried this one) and steady 40fps without any tweaking... Im using nvidia-drivers 340.65-2 so not last version, but tbh I expect to be able to play this Dying Light reducing some of the fanciest effects... am I too crazy?

Quoting: aLMy prediction is that is going to come out in gdc... Come on GDC!!! arrive already!! I can barely hold myself!!
I don't think so - why would they advertise a game which is already so old?
good point... the hype about the game coming to linux blinding me to the fact that not many people cares at this point

how about if they didnt "announce" it, but simple came out along a bunch of other games? :)

Just so I can have something to hold onto during my waiting. Ive been suffering long enough already disscent... why are you doing this to me!!

Quoting: EKRboiIf we didn't already know that Infinite was already being "ported" (very loose term there) I would guess it was it. So maybe one of the first two games?
Well, since it is installable in linux i recognize i go and click in the play button to see if the executable is there already from time to time... even tho i know for sure is not there yet. I would had seen the update or the news would had been all over gol already.

My prediction is that is going to come out in gdc... Come on GDC!!! arrive already!! I can barely hold myself!!

Agreed. In the first 30ms of looking at the picture I thought bioshock infinite
And I hope it comes with all the DLCs... I don't usually buy DLCs... but I'll make an exception for this one...

Aspyr Media Are Close To Breaking Even On Linux Ports
16 Jan 2015 at 9:14 pm UTC

I have a question. How to know if a game the result of a porting or is the output of a click in the engine?

For me this is kinda important. I have already bought a lot of games even if I don't play them, but I could go the extra kilometer for a game that went under the effort of a port... Considering I can't buy them all

The Spectre Of Grim Fandango Looms! GF Remastered Now Available For Pre-Order On GOG (Updated!)

I won't preorder, but ill probably buy on launch day. preordering made sense on the days of physical copies. Makes little sense with digital copies

I understand the eagerness to get a game, but as we say in spain, "no por mucho madrugar, amanece más temprano", no matter how early you get up, it doesn't dawns earlier

kinda weird that a musical game doesnt have a video on the steam page... its like you are hiding your selling point from the users...
