Planetary Annihilation Officially Launches, Linux Is Polished Up

The fact that we see so many multi-player only and sandbox games recently should not be interpreted as a lack of demand for well-made single-player campaigns. It's just that SP campaigns are costly and require a totally different set of skills and my impression is that most indie studios wouldn't admit this.
So kudos to Uber Entertainment for being honest about that:

Quoting: GuestI like RTS games and would be interested, but the first review on Steam has these lines:I couldn't agree more. Especially the fact that there is no single-player campaign is a downer (not news though). While I realize that lots of gamers are fine with multi-player only games - I'm not. :/
- no "story" campaign
- you have to be online to play
So, not for me.

Any news about this one?
"Seems" like the press release above is not listed anymore:
Press releases between Feb. and April. 2014. [External Link]
Me idiot bought the game back then to support the devs/publisher. Yeah, my bad. :D
However, how about a new category for developers/publishers that promised a Linux release but did not deliver?

Dead Island Zombie Action RPG Looks Like It's Coming To Linux

The download is obviously not complete yet.
Apart from that, it shouldn't be too hard get along
without any eon/vp strings in this and future "ports".
After all:
Dead Island is explicitly listed on Virtual Programming's website.

How To Build A Budget Steam Machine

These practices are one of the very few arguments pro being an early adopter.
Think of notebooks, which often have excellent LCD panels for reviews and for a short period
after product launch (to get good real customer reviews), while more and more cheaper
panels of lower quality from other manufacturers are added later on.

Quoting: StyromaniacKingston had gained a bad reputation.Unfortunately, I don't think these practices reduce to Kingston only.

I'd recommend a different brand. I'm boycotting them for life.
