Nice, that seems like the upgraded Tetris Attack I was waiting 20+ years for now ;)

Edit: arg, mandatory 3rd party account system kind of sucks though :(

As for the fantasy console: why not build something on the awesome Love2D lua framework [External Link]? Some custom BASIC based thing seems really uninteresting to me at least.

Quoting: Purple Library GuyThey may not have had a huge budget before, but they've sure as hell got one now.
Yeah, sounds a bit like the next Mojang in the making. However we all know how that ended :-/

That would be terrible. The next announcement would be:

*August 2023* Google announces they are shutting down the Steam game platform and instead moving the Valve team into a new Google subsidiary writing messaging apps.

Quoting: GoboI guess there are now more virtual vikings in this game alone than there were real vikings some centuries ago. They have statistically sold a copy to every other current citizen of Denmark.

That would be golden, like geforce now, but on Linux with valve catalogue, one of the best combinations for us.
Well, this could go various ways... *June 2021* Google announces acquiring a majority stake in Valve Software (as founder Gabe Newell retires in New Zeeland with his new found billions). Steam to be integrated with Stadia, Android support coming through Playstore... *you heard it here first kids* :p

Quoting: NezchanWow.

All the characters they could have picked, there's what, 120 of them? Almost all with amazing, visually impressive designs and costumes, flashy abilities and compelling backstories, and this is what they picked? A generic looking human warrior whose outfit is mainly brown?
Netflix seems to have no clue in regards to Anime. Edit: Removed some further nonsense I mixed up.

Maybe Valve should expand into digital Anime & Manga distribution (as opposed to streaming). That is also one of those areas where a market failure leads to a lot of piracy, similar to how it was with computer games before Valve made digital stores popular.

A VR port would be probably cool. Although I would probably not want to do the more extreme stunts in VR ;)
