Good! All in-game purchases as well as loot boxes should be banned... just leave DLC with actual content (new story) and that's it...

I'm moving quite a lot (often for months) abroad and share my library with my nephew (we all live together) and now it just works fine (and I don't play that much so current restrictions don't affect me that much) and with new system I feel it won't work... bollocks!

Quoting: Liam DaweI get that for how some people live, in that way it's a downgrade. But, I don't really believe a family sharing system is meant at all for different countries. That, really, feels like a bit of a stretch for Valve getting developers on board to allow games to be shared like this at all.This... I get that automatic determination what household is based on wifi/ip/gps/whetever is easier but I wouldn't mind providing legal country official document that we are family and Valve would tick off in their system that we are without doing restrictive stuff...
Different households in the same country though, that I feel they could (and should) relax on a bit. Like for me as a co-parent, the kiddo is between two houses in two completely different cities.

Quoting: CybolicI recommend people wait on this one. My Deck is currently stuck in a 2-5 second boot-loop after upgrading Decky Loader to version 3.0. It has never been stuck in a boot-loop before.Just updated and luckily it worked without problem, phew :)

just stating that pixel-art made perfect sense on CRT and is just silly on LCD (which you know... is perfect display)..

Quoting: KirtaiI'm not talking about ultra realistic..Quoting: _wojtekEh... I don't get why pixel-art still being made... they made perfect sense with CRTs but now? It's not even for nostalgia...Pixel art is like a book, it leaves much more to the imagination than ultra-realistic art.

Not overly extatic that the project siphons all the devs but! it's still Linux based so there is a poasibilit that with SteamDeck it will bite oven more pie from Windows, which is good.

i wouldn't mind if valve would allow better rating (1-5, where 3 is neutral). I often would like to live a comment / review but I'm forced to select either good or bad (so even bad / neutral / good would be better)
No leaving a Steam account in a will after you die according to Valve

Looks awesome. Though I wonder about noise (currently on MBP with M1 and I to love complete silence of the device).
They could invest in better video stabilisation though :)
