Just mute it, and play the Terminator 2 soundtrack over it.

Baldur's Gate 3 gets a Native Linux version to improve it on Steam Deck

Deck Wizard released a video of the game running Linux native. Unfortunately, Mangohud doesn't work on the native build, so it's hard to say exactly how well it's running, but you can still tell the experience is much improved from watching the video.

I'd say it's probably holding around 28-30 FPS with the occasional hiccup.

I'm downloading this to see how well it runs now. BG3 was one of those games I thought didn't deserve to have a Deck Verified badge applied to it due to the fact that the 3rd act isn't actually playable at all on the Deck.

Well, you CAN technically play it, but it's about as fun as punching yourself in the face over and over again.

It's punishingly difficult in a way that makes it not fun or enjoyable for me to play.
I beat the game last night (the bad ending). I was thinking of offering up some tips that could help you along, but really, the game gets so tough later, you probably wouldn't have fun even with the few tips.

I mean, I have a high threshold for frustration, and genuinely love games that make me say a string of bad words as I bang my fist against the arm of my chair, but there were more than a handful of times that really pushed me here. If you're getting this frustrated so early in the game, the latter half will probably drive you to commit straight up brutal murder.

I'd say wait for some cheats to pop up, or watch some Lets Plays.

I have a blister on my thumb because of this game.

Hollow Knight: Silksong is out now with Linux / SteamOS and Steam Deck support

Hornet is still so weak right now, she just feels SO fragile, and the bosses taking two hearts just for even the slightest mistake is brutality.
This is something that lasts throughout the game. You can mitigate it somewhat with mask pieces and pins, but you'll always be pretty fragile.

Overall, I'd say Silksong starts to ramp up the difficult earlier than Hollow Knight, but, thus far anyway, it hasn't yet hit the ultra hard highs that the original did. I think I'm closing in on the end game, and I've yet to see anything as brutal as the Path of Pain yet.
