Quoting: Persephone the SheepThat one some how the rubber on the scroll wheel expanded and locked up the wheel.I have the same issue. I really liked the shape and the feel of the mouse, but it's unusable in its current state. I still got the mouse in my drawer, maybe to restore it when I have time and access to 3D printer. Or not. I kind of get used to USB-C powered mouse I have now, even though I was fan of AA back then. Then I realized how quite some of my AA (mostly Eneloop) batteries got really worse over years.

This looks absolutely amazing. I watched the video first and the first few frames I was like: is this from Piranha Bytes? Damn, I'm excited now!

Sadly, this game has left my system behind. I can't get a stable framerate at all any more, so I've had to give it up, at least until I eventually get a new machine.I wonder how (un)playable it would be on my machine with Ryzen 5600 and Radeon 6800? It's basically my childhood dream game, yet it slide from my radar after release controversy and then I never got to it.

Well, I hope this gets sort out sooner rather than later. I was going to build mini PC for kids entertainment and Bazzite was no.1 distro to use. Now if this goes through what would be the alternative? ChimeraOS?

I loved the original 1&2, but this one... Music & Chris Barrie, that's awesome, but the art style completely ruins it for me. Looks like typical flash game from early 2000s which I'm not a fan of. I'd soooo much prefer pixel art to stay in line with OGs.

This looks graphically exactly like Desert Strike. It's the same graphics. Definitely. In my head. The same. Impossible to be mistaken. Right?!

The usual problem I see is: How are they going to support those? How often they'll include newer versions of mods in the installer? This might turn out either epic move or (usual) flop. And since many moons back I have pretty strong impression GOG is chronically understaffed, my hopes are low.

General price of computers went down like crazy. Common PC back in the day was like 80k CZK (my country currency) and it wasn't even the top of the line, it was mid range at best. My parents bought ~3 years old car for 100k at the time and it was very expensive, they saved years and years to be able to buy it. Nowadays I can go shopping and get decent PC for 30k, and those 80k will get me basically the best I can get - nvidia 5080 with top cpu. Not counting inflation.

Sorry, this has got nothing to do with the question at hand. We weren't rich in the Eighties, and I could afford a game from time to time, if you were on this path.Well, since PC as a platform was expensive like cr*p. Regular mid range PC was price of couple years old small car (at least in my country) in 90s. And since we're dealing with PC related stuff (games), I believe it has pretty much something in common.
