A public alpha of the 'semi-immutable' Manjaro Summit Linux is now available

I still don't get why Manjaro is a thing? It's just objectively worse functioning Arch with sleek and pretty UI. And since installing real Arch is not such a pain anymore (and EndeavourOS is a thing too), what is the point?

Ubisoft launches new subsidiary for Assassin’s Creed and other big games with funding from Tencent

Well, seems like soon enough Ubisoft itself is gonna cease to exist and all the valuable assets will fall into Tencent's lap. Quite a grim outlook, but is anyone surprised at this point? Ubisoft, once a great and awesome company, is just huge pile of dumpster that's also on fire and smells like sh*t last ... how many? 5? 10 years?

Wow, looks cool. Finally we're getting more retro-ish games, that does not skimp on art part of the "pixel art".

The glibc 2.41 update has been causing problems for Linux gaming

StalePopcorn: I also usually stick with proton. From my (limited) experience, proton versions often behaves better than linux native versions. E.g. native Black Mesa was unplayable for me. It had lights effects broken (either too dark or too bright, flashlight not working at all, etc.) and some models not rendering properly or with artifacts, it was just impossible to play. Switching to proton fixed those problems. Pillars of Eternity native had half of in-game fonts unreadable and blurry for some reason at my PC, proton version doesn't behave like this. Native Half Life 1 completely refused to start at all, instead of hunting for a fix godknowswhere, proton solved the problem. It's just "easy mode" nowadays.

Looks pretty much spot on. Comixy vibe reminds me the most of Sam & Max or Day of Tentacle.

There are some games I have on my wishlist (Wrath, Viscerafest, Graven) in this bundle, but damn... Where do I get time to play all the games I already have? Should I hoard more?

And what's the point in using something someone already owned?
Could be plenty of reasons like saving some money or reducing e-waste.

Refurbished Steam Deck LCD and Steam Deck OLED back in stock in the UK and Europe - act fast

I don't need one, yet I'm really tempted to try it. I may have spare 512GB (or even 1TB) drive laying around so I wonder whether it's worth getting OLED over cheapest 64GB LCD considering drive space is not an issue. PS: I'm cheap skate from the East...
