Quoting: elmapulso, the D3D9/DirectX9 still dont run flawlessly ? dammit that is sad =\
Wine will likely never get finished. Windows is a moving target for them.

Even when an implementation might be classed as complete, there will likely still be work that can be done to improve it.
DirectX 9 isn't a moving target though. But of course it's understandable that one can only do so much with limited resources. We should be grateful for what we have
.
wait, DirectX9 being a moving target i can understand, but MS keeps developing Dx9 after start developing Dx10, 11, 12?

i know, but i hoped that at least some old tech like D3D9 was complete. (without bugs, performance issues are aceptable since you can always run on a stronger hardware to solve the issue)

loved their transparency, i hope at least one other developer that planing to use game maker studio change its mind with that news (very unlikely they're reading this, but who knows?)

"Perhaps one of our lovely porters like Icculus, Ethan Lee, Knockout Games or someone else could arrange a port."
the issue is, the thing that should be "arranged" is game maker in order to fix this, so he will need the source code of both.

that is a quite strange game, i dont see my self buying it, but their transparency makes me want to support then if the game runs on wine.

Quoting: elmapulits valve reminding us again that they dont give a shit about the steam machines, but do give about the steam machine killer...
Now now, while no one may really know what they're doing with them, this has nothing to do with Steam Machines. Apart from the obvious, Valve don't control vendors pricing on their systems.
i know, i'm just disapointed/venting, and i cant see news related to steam link without remembering that.

(i'm not sure if venting is the right world, google sugested it, its the only word that i used that i had to use google translate)

Quoting: KimyrielleSo they managed to port the game more or less overnight after asking if people wanted? Including securing permissions?

That or they decided to port that game LOOOOOOONG before asking in public.

What's more likely?
no one said that was the game selected from the pool.
if you see their page they have an radar of future ports, but they dont disclose their names.
maybe that was one of the mysterious signs on the radar?
