Maybe they'll sell it off for parts and someone decent will buy Dice and Codemasters.

Forza Horizon 6 heads to Japan and will release on Steam

Forza Motorsport is made by Turn10, not Playground Games.

Baldur's Gate 3 gets a Native Linux version to improve it on Steam Deck

EDIT: THEY JUST FIXED THIS, keeping this up because I was a judgmental asshole worthy of ridicule and I'll gladly eat my words if it means I get this shit native
Fixed as in we get the native build or fixed as in they stopped borking the Proton install?

Same here, I prefer Forza offline. But then I'm not competitive at all and the most social you really get with other player in the open world is freaking them out with bizarre car skins.

Full Circle / EA confirm again that skate. will not support Linux, Steam Deck or macOS

I'm enjoying Session: Skate anyway. They're a few years too late to jump on this bandwagon.

New Valve trademark for 'Steam Frame', looks like we're getting new hardware

That's an issue with the games themselves, not the headset or SteamVR
The problem is the tracking. It mostly works seated but it's designed for roomscale, so if you're playing anything other than a game where you're locked in place and can only turn your head, seated VR requires more tweaking/workarounds.

If it is Deckard I just really hope they put some thought into the seated experience this time. The Index can be used seated but the vast majority of the time it's designed around the assumption that you have room to use it standing. I don't care about the motion controls aspect of VR at all, I just want an immersive display.

Steam UK users will now need a credit card to access mature content due to the Online Safety Act

I doubt they can do anything about it, seems to just be a weird quirk of UK payment processors. Google is the same, you can use a debit card their too.

Edit: Looks like they've added an additional check, so debit cards don't work now. It only applies to Adult-Only games anyway, stuff like CyberPunk 2077 and Far Cry 3 with nudity are unaffected, just porn games.

Shame they don't use Nexus Mods' technique and use the age of the account. My Steam account is 19 years old. Surprisingly so is my Nexus Mods account, didn't realise I'd gotten in that early.
Actually, if the check doesn't cost anything can't kids just steal their parent's credit card?

Atari acquires the rights to five classic Ubisoft titles

Now go grab No One Lives Forever from the clutches of Fox. If there's a series that deserves to live on, this would be my first choice.
A bunch of companies were involved in publishing and distribution of NOLF in different regions, that's why no-one has been able to get the rights to it. No-one knows who has what rights and the companies can't be bothered to check what rights they hold, but still insist they'll enforce them.
