I'm glad the hardware releases have prompted them to update the app and navigation. I usually just use gg.deals to save a buck, but the workshop changes were especially welcome.

It's a shame they don't seem interested in selling at a loss, because this price increase has made these products completely unaffordable for me, as a guy who already has a serviceable computer and portable system (Switch), and also has a mortgage.
I am not saying they should price it that way (though they certainly could, not being beholden to shareholder short-termism), just saying that this hardware will only be for the hobbyist and/or rich step-dad range. Not their fault rich people are currently killing the consumer PC market, but this is shaping up to be a terrible time to try and make an impact in market share. I was personally going to upgrade from my 2020 build, but fat chance of that happening in the next 2 years now.

I don't need to defend Gabe for being a rich guy with a ton of swanky yachts. He does it because he can, and I'd rather he not be able to just because no one person should have that much cash. The only reason I don't wish the worst for him is because his death will be bad for Valve's not-terrible consumer practices and investments (and I'm selfish).
Sweeney could be kinda worse and pretty jealous though fwiw. Anybody still on X is asking for their brain to get irradiated and he seems no different.

My Vencord/Vesktop install works every time I open it now, so I might chalk that up to these little improvements over time. Good to see!
Denuvo DRM reportedly fully cracked open, 2K apparently fights back with online checks

Denuvo bad, but also ya as Tom's said this Hypervisor bypass has you run a script to take basically all low-level security down and restart for it to work. The cracks (I've seen them through FitGirl Repacks) provide the scripts to take it down and bring it back up, but these are hackers writing it by definition, so I hope everyone takes appropriate precautions and that Windows users don't forget to bring their stuff back up...
The new Steam Controller releases May 4th

Unfortunately even if it were half this price I'd struggle to justify it given my wireless Xbone controller w/ rechargeable batteries has been working well for almost 14 years at this point. I hope they sell well as they seem to be building on really good fundamentals.
I feel like Steam keeps narrowly missing me with their hardware releases in terms of price/features (Steam Machine vRAM, Steam Deck availability, not into VR w/ the Steam Frame, etc.), which is a shame because they do good work.

Valve have plans for the Steam Deck 2, plus a brief Steam Machine / Steam Frame update

I've really been jonesing for a Steam Deck over the past year, as it was either that or snake cabling under the walls/flooring to the basement TV room. This news might have me content to wait rather than get the now 3-4 year old console, especially considering they've been out of stock here for over 5 months now. Hope they keep the good work up!

This looks like a Warcraft 2 auto-battler and I think that's rad. I'm wishlisting it too.
