For me Wayland is very close to being ready but there is one show stopper and that is windows positions are not remembered in Plasma 5. I really hope that is addressed in Plasma 6 before full release.

Don't forget LiS2!

The war of the PC stores is getting ugly, as Metro Exodus becomes a timed Epic Store exclusive

Quoting: 14That screenshot made me wish Deadspace II would come to Linux. :'(
Dead Space 1 and 2 work really well in Proton.

Right now people should be careful in trusting Epic. All their attention is going into Fortnite even the Unreal Engine isn't getting the support it should especially on Linux it seems. I understand that getting a bigger revenue cut is very attractive and important smaller dev shops. But looking at this from a Linux perspective, Valve has done tremendous amount of work for gaming on Linux. I can't name any other developer/publisher that ported almost all of their games to Linux as Valve did. Plus all the behind the scene stuff they do and support.

I was really hoping that we would a Linux version of Metro Exodus at some point but with this move that more or less out of the question.

Setting up a Bluetooth Controller for Linux Gaming (Part 2: Wine & Steam Play)

Thanks for the guide. A little partly of topic question. I am using my Steam controller mostly for playing games but when I use my controller with a game through proton or wine the screensaver kicks in every 15 minutes, because that is the interval I set it to. How do I get around that issue I am on Arch with KDE btw? I have no issues with native Linux games and the screensaver only wine/dxvk/proton games.

Great news. Anybody know if Feral have confirmed if they will port Captain Spirit since it ties into LiS2?

Life Is Strange 2 has an official teaser ahead of a full reveal later this month

If Feral does do the port of LiS 2 I hope that we get The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit as well on Linux, since it ties into LiS 2.

Stonehearth for Linux is cancelled five years after a successful Kickstarter

Ahh another one to the list of canceled Linux ports. The one that pisses me off still the most is the missing Linux port of Wings Remastered. Funny thing about that is that actually made a Amiga OS port of the game.
