The game engines were,...
and the games were designed for the engine. The multiplayer capability was built into the games even if it wasn't the top priority.

It won't come to morrowind.

Move on.

Considering this and all versions of the game for PS4 (digital, physical, GOTY etc) have incompatible save data to each other, I get the distinct impression that they are very hasty when planning out technical issues.

I feel cheated because GOTY is cheaper than both DLCs on their own, and all my progress is moot.
Sold the game. Might eventually grab it again.

I doubt it. They got tons of money from TW3 sales.
it's a metaphor, and I said VP.
I'm saying maybe VP said the could handle it for them, and couldn't.

Quoting: rustybroomhandleNone of these are unanswered questions, but they are answered in games that are specifically designed to accommodate multiplayer. Morrowind is not one of these. It would need specific multiplayer content created for it.
BioWare has answered the same questions for NWN/IE-Games without specific multiplayer content. Co-op feels a bit weird sometimes but it works great and was fun.
those were designed to be multiplayer to begin with.

Quoting: GuestI’m also waiting for shadows and distant lands, but I have other games to play anyway (including Two Worlds 2 which I found quite difficult last time I tried, and Gothic 1/2/3 under Wine if I can make them work).
I tried to play Gothic, but it was like trying to use a mid-80s Russian Emacs clone or something. The game looks interesting, but the controls are bizarre and using them with a Colemak keyboard was untenable.

Maybe VP wrote a cheque they couldn't cash.

W3 is a graphically intensive game, and maybe VP failed to get their wrapper in a state to handle it.
