Co-Op Stealth Game Clandestine May See a Linux Port

Maybe they should support one Distro like most games do. Reccomend Ubuntu or Mint as a standard.
I can't imagine how much work it takes to support all the distro's out there and all the different hardware as well.
Does Unity 3D support a specific Distro?

Cross Of The Dutchman Action & Adventure Game Released For Linux, Some Thoughts
12 Sep 2015 at 12:11 pm UTC

Sounds like an entertaining game for all ages, but isn't an AAA game at all.
I backed this game on Kickstarter and it didn't get funded.
I love the premise and story along with the beautiful graphics... was hoping for a really fun action-packed game.
Thanks for the review

We have Ten Copies Of The Fantastic Victor Vran To Give Away!

I'm a good hunter because any minions lurking in the Linux gaming world needs to be eliminated on a Linux gaming computer! So I would hack them down limb by limb with my Linux ax and thank the developers for supporting a well-earned Linux minion death!

Albion Online Summer Alpha On Linux!
9 Jul 2015 at 6:17 pm UTC

Agreed! I hope we can accumulate materials by killing monsters PVE or cutting down trees and mining silver/iron. Then spend a lot of time building weapons, accessories and homes. That way we don't have to spend a lot of time trying to survive in a PVP world and yet we get to help the PVP players.
Imaging leveling up a weapon by improving it as a blacksmith, then PVP players come to buy it for their next battle.

America's Army: Proving Grounds Developers Apparently Looking At A Linux Port

Don't forget to mention America's Army is totally FREE!
In the past versions they have use Unreal Engine, so it should run great in PlayOnLinux (Wine) as well.

SOMA, The New Horror From Frictional Games Due In September Day-1 For Linux, New Trailer Too
29 May 2015 at 6:26 pm UTC

Wow, SOMA looks amazing! It reminds me of Doom 3 and Alien Isolation, but Frictional always adds a lot of tension with their emotional senses in their games. Makes everything much spookier...

I love how there is no HUD and everything is interactive just like in Amnesia.

I'm definitely going to buy SOMA! I love the direction they have taken with games and supporting Linux

Desura Are In A Bit Of Trouble With Not Paying Developers

Quoting: Blackthorne519I was alerted to this thread by a friend of mine, who's also a voracious Linux user - I try my best to be out there for the people who buy our game, and I'm generally available via email and twitter easily! Being a dev is an honor, so I try my best for people.

Thank you for taking time to care for your customers.
I hope Desura continues this strategy as GOG has. I have experienced GOG's concern for their customers and community. Other gaming services should learn from them.

Desura Are In A Bit Of Trouble With Not Paying Developers

How awesome is that??!!
Developers actually commenting and willing to produce a product key for your purchase! I hope you guys are making money from sales and continue developing!

A few years back I was using Desura for downloading and playing many games. I had several games that I purchased and a few free games. Then I started using Linux and found that Desura also had a Linux version available. It worked perfectly!

Today, I'm still waiting for a stable Desura client so I can start downloading my games again. Who knows if this is going to happen? I love supporting Indie games and DRM Free games, so I hope they get their "act together" and help us help them.

Techland Presentation On Porting Dying Light To Linux
23 Apr 2015 at 7:50 pm UTC Likes: 1

This video from Techland is GREAT! I hope more video's are published by Linux developers to show the pain & suffering they go through in the Windows gaming world.
I'm happy they took the time to work on a Linux port even if they only had 4 months... it was totally worth it!
I hope they continue to make Linux ports and help other programmers to think mulit-platform when coding.
Thanks for sharing
