They must have done it for a reason which in typical Microsoft fashion only benefits themselves.

SILENT HILL 2 remake gets a surprise GOG release

A silent release for a Silent Hill game, and a modern one at that. Very tempted to buy it, even at that price.

Did some research, it appears the game was DRM-Free to begin with, even on Steam (the client was only needed to download the game files).

15 years after being cancelled, pirate-themed action game Captain Blood is out now

@tkonicz I think the name is just a coincidence, I didn't play the first game with this name but I still own the sequel - Commander Blood.

A quick Wikipedia lookup it appears there is a pirate movie from 1935 with this name.

I'm particularly happy with the Unity fix: #56073 Some Unity games don't receive keyboard input when using virtual desktop

This release does indeed fix the keyboard issue I had with Narita Boy in Virtual Desktop.

Linux update still not on GOG.

Their changelog is not too promising either with the "Steam Linux users" only mentioned.

GNU Image Manipulation Program (GIMP) version 3.0 is finally out now

Before I moved to Linux I used to use Paint.net, adapting to GIMP took a while. Eventually I feel more comfortable with GIMP nowadays and even taught my dad how to use it.

I don't understand why some people don't like it. There aren't that many great open source image tools that can match it. Most probably there are more desktop environments than image tools.

Latest patch is now up on GOG. I guess I'm in the mood for re-playing the game especially with the ultrawide support.

As an AMD user, would be nice to have FSR support however the update is appreciated nonetheless.

Other companies such as Sony would call it a remaster and slap a price tag.

EDIT: Seems the update will be released at a later date on GOG.
